A global study of CEO perceptions by Korn Ferry shows that top leaders are putting a higher value on technology and tangible assets in their organisations than on the value of their people. In the study, 44 percent of business leaders said that they believe the prevalence of robotics, automation and artificial intelligence (AI) will make people “largely irrelevant” in the future of work.
VitalClick Technology & Training is excited to welcome Guy Lundy to a public lecture in which he will argue that there is a strong and emerging case that the future of work is going to involve humans, and human talent becomes only more valuable as technology grows. He will consider the following:
- Globally, human capital – people, labour, knowledge – will be worth as much as $1.2 quadrillion over the next five years, and
- Human talent and intelligence is 2.33 times more valuable than everything else put together
Guy is a Senior Client Partner at talent management solutions firm Korn Ferry. He is the author of two books about South Africa and its future, and a sought-after keynote speaker. Click here for speaker bio
